Title: A Unified Methodological Framework for Solving Ultra-High-Dimensional Econometric Models

Speaker: Chang Jinyuan, Guanghua Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Southwest University of Finance and Economics; selected into a number of national and provincial talent projects; expert enjoying special government allowances of the State Council. He mainly engages in research related to large-scale complex data analysis. He has served as Associate Editor of top international academic journals in statistics and econometrics such as Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics and Journal of the American Statistical Association. He has won many awards including the First Prize of the Huo Yingdong Education Foundation Young Scientists Award for Institutions of Higher Education, the Outstanding Achievement Award of Scientific Research in Institutions of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and the Sichuan Provincial Youth Science and Technology Award.
