Title: Changes in China's College Entrance Examination System and Matching Mechanism
Speaker: Zhao Zhoukui, Associate Researcher; has served as Director of the Higher Education Enrollment Office, Office, Research Office and Finance Office of Tianjin Municipal Education Enrollment and Examination Institute. He has been engaged in education enrollment and examination work for 25 years, focusing on the research and practice of college enrollment and examination policies, and has in-depth research in the fields of enrollment reform and enrollment in accordance with the law. He has presided over the completion of a number of provincial and ministerial-level projects, published a number of papers (some of which have been fully reprinted by Renmin University's Copy Materials), and a number of research results have been adopted in policies and won provincial and ministerial-level awards.
Abstract: The diversification of college enrollment models and the reform of admission mechanisms are key measures to realize the effective allocation of higher education resources, improve education quality and promote education equity. Focusing on the theme of "effective allocation of higher education resources", this paper analyzes the current situation and trends of changes in college enrollment models and admission mechanism reforms (such as the exploration and practice of classified examination enrollment, independent enrollment, parallel voluntary admission, and strong foundation plan), explores the cognition and behavior patterns of individuals in different roles in the process of mechanism changes, and discusses the feasible paths to promote the optimal allocation of higher education resources using experimental methods.
