Course Description:

This course aims to provide students with a sound knowledge of international trade theories and policy, and a clear understanding of financial economics in an open economy. Throughout the course emphasis will be on the application of these theories to analyze the current trade and financial problems in China and the rest of the world as well, aiming to provide the students a solid foundation for their future research and practice in international economics. Upon the completion of this course, students should be able to apply relevant concepts and analytical tools in real world business situations.
