Course Description:

The course will be devoted to the topics of two-person bargaining, coalitions, and n-person multilateral bargaining within the context of game theory and economics by discussing both the classical literature and the recent developments, including some applied topics. Students will be able to learn how these issues can be addressed in both cooperative (procedural and normative) and non-cooperative (strategic and positive) perspectives, while some behavioral and experimental analyses will be covered as well. Thus, the course will also deliver an introduction to the Nash program and address some aspects in the field of mechanism design.
