Course Description:

This course introduces students to experimental economics, a tool to collect and analyze controlled data on economic behavior in the laboratory, in the field,or online. Some parts of this course will overlap with SD00233810, “Behavioral Economics.” By the endof this class, you should be able to do the following. (1) Explain how humans make decisions involvingbehavioral factors at the level that another undergraduate student at Shandong University would be ableto understand. (2) Make hypotheses about novel experiments or economic settings. (3) Propose the designand analysis of an original economics experiment.
