Course Description:
This course is to deliver students a useful introduction to macroeconomics. The course will present students the classic models for explaining the working of the economy as a whole. By the end of the course, the students should be able to describe a line of theories in macroeconomics, develop analytical skills abstracted from theoretical models to understand macroeconomic phenomena, and evaluate policy issues implied by them. Students are expected to be cultivated with economic thinking which will be beneficial for their future career.
