Course Description:
Management of Commercial Banks is designed to help students master established management principles and to confront the perplexing issues of risk, regulation, technology, and competition that bankers and other financial-service managers see as their greatest challenges for the present and future. This course offers comprehensive discussions on key topics such as the many roles financial service-providers play in the economy today, the many kinds of external and internal risks faced by banks, how to evaluate the performance of banks and how to enhance their performance, etc. The student will also learn about the key trends and changes in the financial-services sector. With this relevant information students are able to have basic understanding and grasp the rapid changes that are happening in this course area and in the real world.
